Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups milk
3 egg yolks beaten
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 cup whipping cream
Blend sugar, salt, milk and egg yolks in a saucepan. Cook over 
medium heat stirring constantly just until mixture comes to a boil. 
Cool. Stir in vanilla and whipping cream. Freeze in ice cream 
freezer.
